Never laugh at the suffering of human beings. You have obviously never been to war. Even the victors come back mentally and physically damaged for life in one degree or another. Israel has no choice but to respond to these terrorists, but I have seen some of the Israeli soldiers interviewed, and some finished university, or just go married and started a family, or maybe started a business, and had to intention or ambition to go into Gaza. There is nothing funny about the business of war.
