Count me skeptical. The timing is too convenient for Netanyahu. Hezbollah has already denied launching the one-off fusillade of a handful of weak rockets. They’re usually upfront about what they did or didn’t do. The Lebanese army has investigated and found primitive/rudimentary launch sites, consisting of what look like jerry-rigged launchers. None of that seems like Hezbollah at all, nor does it make any sense. Seems more like the desperation of a politician who needs endless wars to stay in power.
