The Ashkenazi lived in Europe for over a thousand years and they were intimately known to and extremely hated by the Christians of Europe but they were completely unknown in the Middle East because they had never ever lived anywhere in the Middle East before 1882 when these Europeans began to come to Palestine claiming to be the Hebrews. And their arrival turned out to be the worst disaster for the people of the region! I am from the Middle East and when I look at the Ashkenazi, they cannot be distinguished from the Germans and therefore the idea of a European people returning to Palestine is absolutely ridiculous.
