It would be rather contradictory, that Israel would release inmates convicted of murder; and not release those for lighter crimes of violence. This whole releasing of criminals on-goings seem counter productive towards the safety and security of Israel and the territories. If a Settler is convicted of beating up an innocent West Banker, then that Settler should be behind bars. As should those jihadis convicted of violent crimes. Releasing all these violent riff-raff seems to only polarise the situation.
