Yes…”clutching at straws” is exactly what I’m reminded of each time an Israeli spokesperson tries to deny the Palestinian Holocaust. They should stick with something more believable like that Internet meme about Australia not really existing….or the one about birds not being real. At least those memes make their promoters seem less detached from reality.
