It is pleasant to see places cherished by all three religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, but unfortunately the sharing processes are not that easy to work out. Sometimes, like when children fight over the same toy, the toy is confiscated and put-aside to collect dust, until the little ones learn to calm down a bit. The Cave of the Patriarchs cannot be put-aside, but the doors can be closed for a while.
