Nazis were an example of antisemetites. They didn’t care if a a Jew was left right religious secular pro German or anti-German. Smart or brilliant. Criminal or noble. Vile or kind. They hated all Jews. That’s antisemetism which another way of saying racism towards Jews
Antisemetism as used by some Jews is sometimes used as form of slander to silence political criticism of specific Jews or a specific policy. The IHRA definition overly broad definition is also a misdefinition because it attempts to set standards of conduct that is not adhered to for all other groups too. They want special treatment for Jews in other states which is only going to generate antisemetism not reduce it.. And the ADL with its various reports on antisemetism, insulting entire countries, is sort of like woke sorts that slander those with different politics than themselves as “racist”. it’s also really annoying how some Jews pretend to support pluralism and HRW version of “human rights”s a minority in other people”s homelands but when it comes to Israel they support an ethnically Jewish defined state..
On the other hand, antisemetism is sometimes real too. One doens’t have to go back to Nazi Germany to find it. Anyone following the comments of some of this posters of this website can see it first hand, And the hypocrisy of supporting pluralism as minorities in other people’s homelands than opposing it in one’s own is a global contradiction not a Jewish one per se.. Another great example of this hypocrisy is the authors of MEMO website. They claim the mass violation of other country’s borders is “human rights” but then cry foul when Jews make settlements into what they see as homeland for Palestinian Arabs. MEMO supports an ethnic homeland for themselves but don’t even support a homeland for millions of fellow Muslim Kurds because Erdogan supports terrorist organization Hamas. What’s mine is mine. What’s yours is ours. My principles are a-la-carte. Whatever suits my national interests are my “morals”.
