In 1922 deciding the fate of Palestine whose population was overwhelmingly Muslim were: 46 Christian countries, 3 Asian countries, and 1 Muslim country – today known as Iran. In 1948 at the United Nations deciding the partition of Palestine were: 44 Christian countries and 33 of them voted for partition; there were 10 Muslim countries – and of course they all voted against partition. In addition to the 10 Muslim countries, India, Cuba, and Greece voted against partition. The reason why there were so few Muslim countries at the UN in 1948 deciding the fate of Palestine was because too many of them were already colonized by the superpowers who were very much interested in creating the state of the Jews in Palestine.
