The orthodox are already serving in the IDF/IAF/Intelligence. A Rosh Yeshiva died fighting in Gaza as have other Orthodox. Haredi women make up a big chunk of the Intelligence Corps. There is a deal that was agreed by the Haredi and the Knesset but nixed by the HC. This is a Red Herring Issue.
