“Israel’s Netanyahu seeks to ‘destroy’ entire Gaza Strip: Palestine”
Well dah yeah. Given he has national extremists like Ben Gvir in his government , the issue for Netanyahu clearly isn’t just Hamas. He wants to make life miserable for all Arabs to encourage them to “voluntarily” migrate somewhere else… aka ethnic cleansing.
The fact is during nation building ethnic cleansing is the norm. This isn’t just an Israel thing. Its true of all nations at some point in the past. It’s just Israel is doing it in the 21st century not 19th. And Palestinians would have done the exact same to Jews if they could have but lacked the military power.
To untangle this sort of ugly moral quagmire a two state solution would be fair. A homeland for both to live in peace. Whomever opposes it on either side is effectively saying they want to wear the hat of the bad guy.
