Israel would be committing a war crime if they were deliberately targeting unarmed civilians, including children. This is not the case however when Hamas uses civilians as human shields, including children. These people are getting killed because they are deliberately putting themselves in harms way. The people of Gaza know full well that Hamas is using them as human shields, yet they still shelter in these places they know are dangerous. That shows complicity with Hamas committing these war crimes. During the “great march of return”, Gazans’ permitted Hamas to bus their children every week to the front lines of this march for the full year and half. 46 children were killed and up to 8,000 were injured during this period. What kind of parents would allow their children to be placed in that kind of danger if they weren’t complicit?
