Maybe longer. Quite likely the new Gaza will be more orderly than the past chaos promoted in the jihadi regime. The first years of tent living will not want to be abandoned by many, in that it is low cost and does not promote consumerism. Being light on possessions allows for easy moving of living locations, which brings more mobility for living/working/studying reasons. Tent communities also require more collective sharing and problem solving instead of being isolated in little mortar and brick boxes. Many Gazans will find the semi-nomadic approach more fulfilling than pre war Gaza. But some people like to be protected better from the elements which brick and mortar allows. Without a doubt, finally the Gazans will not be commandeered and forced to go into tunnel digging crews for a pittance.
