although demonstrating is an expression of
ones political will, when the demonstrators
band together, the dynamics change and it’s
become more difficult to maintain order as
the size of the crowd grows
if the crowd was making its way to the u.s.
consulate in florence, then it was probably
stopped by the police before they could get
close to the consulate grounds and building
sometimes the demonstrators clash with the
police and there are injuries
so the students of pisa and florence had a
meaningful experience marching through the
streets and some of them will have injuries
to which they can remember the days of their
glorious struggle helping out those far away
in another land
