If Israel moves ahead with driving the Palestinians into Jordan and Egypt, the two Arab countries would face catastrophic consequences. Their dependence on US military hardware and by extension Israel’s qualitative military edge has left extremely vulnerable. It would not be surprising at all if Jordan and Egypt decide that their very survival depends on reaching out to countries like China, Russia and Iran for military support.
