Journalism is supposed to be politically neutral reporting of the facts, using consistent language, using consistent standards. Much like the term democracy, actual journalism doesn’t take sides on a political issue.
Reporters “Without Borders” on the other hand (no clue as to their agenda there, also see Doctors “without Borders”) are a bunch of BS artists. They are leftist propagandists that peddle their socialist ideology under the veneer of “journalism”. And if anyone criticizes them they’ll accuse them of oppressing journalism much like the, unelected, leftist “human rights” groups behave..
Greece “coincidentally” dropped several dozen places in the “Without Borders” rankings in a single year a few years ago after our current center right government cracked down on illegal migration. Anyone that has lived in Greece knows it’s media landscape is free. You have communists, fascists, socialists, anarchists, theocrats. liberals, conservatives and everyone else publishing whatever they want with they caveat they don’t engage in libel. Free speech doesn’t include slandering someone like far leftist Reporters “without Borders” seem to believe. Not does it mean someone that disagrees with their “Witthout Borders’ ideological views is oppressive. Others get to criticize not just leftist authoritarians that try to censor the views of any media outlets that disagree with their narratives.. Free speech doesn’t just belong to leftists.
