I watched a lecture on the Warsaw ghetto uprising and the parallels were shocking. The worst part was the number of states that knew the deaths camps were happening and did nothing to stop it. The cognitive dissonance of Polish civilians to deny the reality of genocide happening next door. The same dissonance is seen today.
When will this species grow to know that you must act now or nothing will stop the genocide.
