Identify, please, the “govt” to whose documents you refer.
For the 3 decades from 1917 to 1947, the territory was administered by the UK under a League of Nations international trust known as the “Mandate for Palestine.”
But there was NEVER an independent state named ‘Palestine.’”
No Mandate until 29 September 1923. Fail!
So what do you think went on birth certificates and passports?
A British birth certificate clearly says place of birth so one may be Scottish, Welsh or English.
