As a spokesperson for the Hamas Political bureau, Osama Hamdan has reiterated the determination of his organisation ‘to not fall for US deception’.
‘The partial exchange presented to us does not discuss a comprehensive ceasefire and hence does not align with Hamas demands’, Hamdan has explained.
Furthermore, the senior official emphasises how the present talks regarding a temporary truce is “irrational,” because the Resistance seeks a complete halt to the aggression on the Palestinian people.
He reiterates his movement’s willingness to engage in serious proposals and its readiness to discuss any ideas for a final agreement – noting that any unserious proposals are a “waste of time.”
