Until recently, and perhaps still the case, the Hizzybilly militias were more organized than the Lebanese Armed Forces. The commanders of the LAF are timid to confront the Hizzybillies and trigger more internal conflicts both politically and militarily. So for now, officially the Lebanese government criticises the presence of the five surveillance posts of the IDF upon the mountains of southern Lebanon. But unofficially, welcome the IDF presence in degrading the Hizzybilly war machine.
