LOL! I have to agree with you. Charges of racism can certainly be misused but they should be assessed on a case by case basis. Words are cognitive tools and can easily be misused by changing their meaning in Humpty Dumpty fashion. Perhaps the stupidest memes are “One can’t be antisemitic because Jews aren’t semites but Arabs are” and “One can’t be racist because they are not white or race does not exist as a concept”.
