You don’t seem to appreciate that nations are not politically homogeneous. Just because some individual or political element from xyz country said something bad or thinks a certain way doesn’t mean everyone from that country thinks exactly the same. This is why I can distinguish between the term Hamas and the term Palestinian Unlike some Jewish national extremist. that think others don’t understand many Palestinians support Hamas., I understand that that the ideology of Hamas can be decoupled from the word Palestinian.
The Nazis tried to take over Europe during WW2. Although their primary target was Jews I have little doubt they would have committed genocide against pretty much everyone, including Greeks, other than what they considered “Aryan”. Despite just trying to exterminate us all, we all forgave them when they decoupled Nazi ideology from the term German.
Hamas is not a synonym for the term Palestinian. You can choose new leaders that are more moderate, don’t peddle antisemetism, and that are willing to compromise.
