Re: Legitimate resistance is the key to a Palestinian victory

One more point about more moral and political alignment between Greece and Israel

I know many Jews don’t want to provide Palestinians a state of their own but their thinking is very short term over just a small piece of land. The real regional threat isn’t some micro Palestinian state, It’s a big Ottoman obsessed Turkey armed with nuclear weapons.

There is a reason I focus so much on Erdogan. I’ve put a lot of thought into neo-Ottomanism and pan-Islamism peddled by AKP. The alarm bells went off in my brain a few years ago when Erdogan said it was “unacceptable” for Turkey not to have nuclear weapons. Russia is helping Erdogan build several nuclear plants. Erdogan is in investing in developing uranium deposits in Turkey. He says he wants a Turkish space program. All of this can be repurposed for a secret nuclear and ICBM program. It’s obvious to anyone paying close attention that’s exactly what Erdogan is quietly up to while he distracts attention from himself by focusing on criticizing Israel (or Greece when that fails). Now imagine a few years ahead if/when Turkey gets nukes. You think AKP and MHP are bellicose now. Hamas will be nothing compared to the craziness that’s coming if Turkey gets nukes.

Israel has mostly avoiding criticizing Turkey on lack of Kurdish two-state solution to avoid being criticized over Palestinians not having a state in a sort of quid pro quo mentality. Erdogan doesn’t care about moral principles though. He has fantasies of new Ottoman empire. He still hypocritically criticizes Israel even using his own alleged moral standards.

By allowing a Palestinian state though.. Israel could no longer be reasonably called hypocritical for criticizing Turkey on Kurds. It would open the door for a big international push to finally recognize a long overdue Kurdish state. Not only would that be fair to Kurds but it would be pushback against the chauvinistic AKP types and even Iran. Both would be exposed globally as hypocrites for oppressing Kurds.
