Any specific call for Militant Zionists to leave Palestine-Israel – serves as a logical tension-reducing initiative, for the Levant-as-whole.
After all, the ‘Palestine Mandate Power’ Britain’s White Paper of 1939 definitively rejected the idea of the creation of a Jewish state (as being contrary to the interest and to past promise made to the peoples-as-a-whole) – and sought to limit Jewish immigration to 75,000 for the next 5 years – and beyond that date: emphasised that any such immigration levels were to be determined by the Arab population-majority.
That this ‘peace initiative’ failed, can be attributed to WW2 and to its immediate aftermath. Hence contemporary Palestine-Israel’s continuing extraordinary travail (the extensive crises, in far greater region – and much damage that continues to be wrought to the authority of the United Nations Organisation).
