I saved a dog from the streets of Kosovo … an Anatolian Shepherd (mix)… given to me by an RCMP officer who was in Kosovo training their policemen/ women … she was an alpha female who could not be left in a dog park with other dogs … she was taken by me on a walk twice a day on leash as I smoked my nightly ‘doobie’ (I stopped when Covid hit) … she was ‘my’ dog and I still think of her fondly … eventually she chilled enough so that little children who asked to pet her were allowed to come close and she obliged …
