Re: Members of UN Security Council call for surge in assistance to Gaza

The Operation Flooding Al-Aqsa demonstrated the complacency of the Israelis toward defensive preparations. So now an invigoration process is kicking off. Part of that is the rotation of military personnel into and out of the various combat fronts. Rotating into Gaza helped prepare the IDF for other locations. The Gazan jihadis although less prepared than other jihadi militias in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq; they do serve the purpose of combat for the reserve IDFers. For example, heading into Lebanon, without the multiple months of training in Gaza, the injuries and death tolls would have been much higher. The IDF seems to keep a slow pace to the war, but a shifting one of adaptation as well. Probably there will be another year of war to degrade the various jihadi capacities to repeat atrocities such as the Flooding of Al-Aqsa.
