Palestine remains in essence a tribal society, Rod. Accordingly, the ‘Old Yishuv’ compact whereby Jewish Community was widely accepted within historic Palestine continues to offer the Jewish Faith a level of confidence that it will be able to endure Post Zionism.
Importantly however, any such community will have to demonstrate a level of humility and shared-identity with the wider community in which it is choosing to dwell. (For the bad old days of Old Testament Dominion have long been anathema – and were eclipsed, through the coming of the Jewish Christ.)
