When the Communist Manifesto was issued by Marx in 1848, we still had slavery in this Country, women’s rights were unheard of, and poor whites worked from sun-up to sundown in the factories, on the farms, on the roads, in the mines for substandard wages, no benefits, in often unhealthful and unsafe conditions, usually dying young and leaving their families in poverty. This was the result of runaway capitalism. Are you angry with Marx for pointing these things out?
