It’s true there are some Jewish extremists too but this in no way means Hamas aren’t extremists themselves. Hamas triggered this war by randomly killing a thousand Jews. And its not like Hamas weren’t behaving badly before this. For years they’ve been peddling antisemitism and arguing for the destruction of Israel.
Anyone looking for one side all good or all bad in this conflict is barking up the wrong tree. Although it doesn’t always end up that way the morally ideal way to end most conflicts is politically isolate the hardliners and help the moderates on both sides of any conflict. If you treat hardliners on any side as innocent bystanders they will just keep doing what they are doing even if they win a given conflict.
