That is not Palestinian dish, that is a genuine Ashkenazi dish that the Palestinians appropriated. Of course I am kidding, the Ashkenazi used to have more than a dozen of their own unique cuisines but they no longer cook them because they feel ashamed to even mention them! The Ashkenazi food have Yiddish names and therefore after going to Palestine they got worried that people may wonder why do they have Yiddish names and they got rid of them and then they began to appropriate Palestinian dishes and calling them “Israeli” but the word “Israeli” itself was invented in 1948.
