All this talk of cease-fire negotiations is part of the theatre of war. It comes down to the reality that the jihadis and their foreign funders wanted to trigger a war. Now they have it. So the jihadis are content with dying in battle and attempting to end the lives of as many Israelis as well. The Israelis know that to reduce the chances of repeated October 7 type massacres, the jihadi war machine needs to be greatly degraded. It has only been eleven months and wisely the Gazans understood to steer clear of the jihadis and are able to break camp and move on within a moment’s notice. The ever increasing intel from the disgruntled Gazans to the IDF also has helped to find the jihadis.
