I was thinking of the Kurds in Iran during the shah. They were vehemently anti shah and anti Israel. They were for liberation of any countries under the U.S., Israel and Britains bootstraps. However the Iraqi Kurds are the sellouts to Israel, much like the Mujahideen is now. .
Saddam, using sarin nerve gas during the Iran Iraq war killed mostly Shiite Kurds and Shiite Iranians. Relations between the Sunni Kurds (mostly Iraqi as the Shiite Kurds are in Iran) and Israel go from strong to weak depending on current events.
Personally I found that Shiite Muslims, Kurds or not, no matter what nation, are the most honest, moral and incorruptible therefore they are the most hated by the corrupt Israel, US and Britain. ( however several U.S. generals in the past have admitted they wish we had those in our military.)
The Kurds on the Israel side are Sunni opportunists, they are the Iraqi Kurds.
The U.S. gave Saddam the nerve gas to kill the Iranian Shiite Kurds( in other words the good guys) and the Iranian people – Shiite.
An interesting piece of history: Netanyahu summoned President Clinton to Israel and told him he must remove Saddam. The reason? Saddam was sending money to Palestinian families whose bread winner was killed by Israel so the families could survive.
Clinton refused and the rest is history. Mossad agent and honey trap Monica Lewinsky provided the blackmail material needed (wiretapped convos in the white house between the two, etc) Israeli agent “journalist” Michael Isikoff splashed the affair all over Newsweek. Impeachment precedings followed.
All because he wouldn’t call war on Saddam.
Then the neocons chose the stupid Bush, to be President who’s first action as president was to get rid of Saddam. All because of him helping the Palestinean families financially.
