Netanyahu is a peace-loving, democratically elected leader, who is responsible for both
-1- Freeing the hostages abducted on 10/7 (if possible), and
-2- Restoring the security of 9 million Israelis, which
– [a] – requires the surrender or destruction of Hamas (& possibly Hezbollah),
– [b] – even if the collateral damage in Gaza (& possibly Lebanon) is very high,
and unacceptable to distant and secure western powers.
