Unfortunately family and friends of the hostages held by Hamas need to give up any hopes of them returning home. It’s incredibly sad, my heart goes out to them.
Netanyahu should have taken the deal brokered by Egypt, which included a permanent end to IDF attacks on Gaza. Hostages on both sides would go home, aid would flow into Gaza.
Hamas poses a minimal threat, at best, to Israel going forward. Oct 7 is ancient history.
