The IDF had become “fat and lazy” as an occupying army in the West Bank, it had control and could bark orders at the unarmed Palestinians.
Not so in the Gaza Strip. Here the IDF met an enemy it was not prepared for and suffered the consequences for lax training and discipline. The Glory Days of the IDF are gone.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Government spews a pack of lies about the conflict. No-one in their right mind would believe ANYTHING the Israelis have to say anymore.
