This latest war was started by hamas terrorists on Oct 7 with a massacre of israeli civilians. The people of gaza have not shown any sign of rejecting hamas terrorists within their midst and in fact appear to embrace their abusers. This means in fact that gazans support hamas’s goal of destroying israel. This makes for a very bad neighbor and one which israel has every right to defend itself against. Gaza will no longer be a playground for anti israel terrorists nor will it continue to receive international aid. This decision has been made not by israel and its allies, but rather by the people of gaza. Since they support killing jews as a matter of their “governments” policy, they are essentially perpetually at war with israel. Israel has the right to defend itself and since that means removing gazans from gaza to make this threat go away, israel should do that. No compromise with islamist terrorism is acceptable. Islamist terrorists should be eliminated.
