The real enemy is the Zionist component of the Jewish State and the evil alliance between Bibi, struggling to survive politically, and the political and religious Zionist far-right. As long as this political set-up won’t be overthrown, no hope that the current stalemate will be sorted out. The ball is in the Americans’ court the only ones capable to make their leverage felt in Israel. Anyway at least in the short term I struggle to see a way out of the awful mess that terrible crisis is currently stuck. Actually I can’t see in the current grim juncture how a sustainable negotiated process aimed at paving the way for the two-state solution can reasonably take off with reasonable chances to succeed.
