Re: ‘Palestinians are the last Arab people fighting for their first independence,’ says Marzouki

1. I think that is what I actually said.
2. Sands is an Archaeologist at the University of Tel Aviv. He is an avid Zionist. He says so at the begining of his book “The invention of the land of Israel” I am not sure however who I despise the most. Someone who is ignorant of the history of Zionism or someone like Sands who states he is an avid supporter of Israel but then writes a book disproving its narrative.
3. Just because you think that the bible is revered by all people on the planet does not mean it is so. I can understand you saying that you revere the bible(s) but you cannot say that they are revered by all people. Do Shinto religious followers in Japan for example revere the bible? or Buddhist’s? or Muslims? Later you reference the bible stories to justify your position even though earlier you admitted that the bible is a book which contains myths.
No archaeological research has ever uncovered evidence that there was a Jewish state in Jerusalem. In fact the whole concept of a “State ” in a modern context did not exist in earlier times. Palestine however from archaeology and early maps was known to the early Egyptians so it dates back about 4000 years. I am well aware one of the fables of the Zionists is that there was no palestine but just wandering arabs on camels and even say so in their educational school books, but this is just zionist progaganda.
4. More fables from the bible I guess.
5. I will re-visit that one for clarification.
6. I think I made it clear. The early Zionists changed their names to invented Hebrew ones in order to create their historical narrative of ownership of the land. I know many in addition changed their names to European or US sounding ones because they were aware jews were not well liked in the West and believed quite rightly that they might face discrimination. However their change of name is not for the same reason.
