Re: Palestinians displaced from northern Gaza fear this new Nakba

There’s an old saying that goes something like this: “Those who sow the wind reap the whirlwind.” And so I say to your Palestinian brethren: “Welcome to the whirlwind.” And my advice to you is: “Complain to Hamas.” After all, Hamas STARTED and RESTARTED this war.

Moving on, how about we play a little game? This one is called The Time Machine Game. But before we begin, we need to emphasize the basic framework, which is, once again:

HAMAS STARTED AND RESTARTED THIS WAR.

Now back to The Time Machine Game.

For starters, I’ve set the game’s time dial back to 2005. In 2005, 21 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip and four Israeli settlements in the West Bank were unilaterally dismantled by Israel. Israeli settlers were removed. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were evacuated from inside the Gaza Strip and redeployed on the border between Gaza and Israel. This disengagement was conducted unilaterally by Israel. There was quid pro quo; no reciprocity; no deals—just an evacuation, pure and simple.

And therein lay the seeds of Israel’s Great Experiment, to wit: “How would the Palestinians react to having their own territory, free and clear: no Israeli settlers; no Israeli military? Would this experiment in nation-building bear fruit?”

Well, the answer wasn’t long in coming. The experiment bore fruit all right…very bitter fruit.

The first thing the Palestinians did was to smash the greenhouses and other infrastructure the Israelis left behind. Then they voted Hamas into power. Then Hamas started lobbing rockets into Israel. Then Hamas invaded Israel and killed 1,400 Israelis, including old men and old women. Hamas invaders raped women and dragged men, women and children into Gaza, taking more than 200 hostages, and they continue—to this day—to fire rockets into Israel.

So much for the experiment to see how the Palestinians would react to getting the seeds of their own state.

Which brings us to the following indisputable conclusion: If the Palestinians put down their guns tomorrow, there would be peace. But if Israel put down its guns tomorrow, it would cease to exist, based solely on what happened in 2005.

Make no mistake about it: The Palestinians voted for what they got. They voted for Hamas, they wholeheartedly support Hamas and Hamas STARTED and RESTARTED this war. The Palestinians want it all, you see. That’s why they and their supporters are so fond of chanting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” From the river to the sea means from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, which…in a nutshell…means no more Israel.

Unfortunately for the Palestinians…but FORTUNATELY for the rest of the world…Israel isn’t going anywhere. And if the Palestinians were REALLY serious about making peace with Israel, they wouldn’t be indoctrinating their children to hate Israel and Jews. Likewise, the Palestinian Authority wouldn’t be paying a bounty to Palestinians for every Jew murdered. If the Palestinians were REALLY interested in bringing this war to an end, they wouldn’t be hiding hostages as a service to Hamas.

And the list goes on, but the bottom line is that the Palestinians—AS A WHOLE—have absolutely no desire to live side by side IN PEACE with Israel.

What the Palestinians DO excel at is playing the victim. Never forget this: The sovereign nation of Israel was invaded on October 7, 2023, by the army of the “duly elected” government of the Gaza Strip, i.e., Hamas…the very same Hamas that hides weapons in schools, hospitals and mosques…the very same Hamas that uses children and other civilians as human shields…the very same Hamas that is responsible for the butchery and other war crimes committed against Israeli civilians on October 7. And now that the very same Hamas is getting its butt kicked by the IDF, the Palestinians are all of a sudden whining and complaining. How quickly they have chosen to forget the dancing in the streets that took place on October 7th.

Moreover, the Hamas propaganda machine is working overtime in creating AI-driven posts pointing their finger of misery directly at Israel. Unfortunately for the Hamas-loving Palestinians, the world isn’t buying that charade.

And so, my message to all Palestinians is that it’s time for you to wake up and smell the coffee. Your buddies in Hamas…the very same Hamas that you voted for and still support…have brought Gaza to the brink of total destruction.

So, congratulations on making such a terrible mess of things.
