It’s called the old city because it’s always been in the hands of Palestinians for thousands of years. What you said about it rightfully returning to Jews is a perversion of history. Because by Jews you mean European Jews and European Jews have no connection to the holy land and especially not Jerusalem. In fact what you said is just a form of ethnic cleansing by trying to claim the old city was “returned” by Jews.
