It’s an Ironic, cynical and sadistic statement which blurs the strrong evidence, delay and weakens the accountability for those responsible and in the command chain, to cover up the story and coming up with a sham after this: “Call for an Independent Investigation” a sham Investigation with couldn’t happen independently, because even UNHRC, ICC, Fact Finding Mission, Journalists and other Investigative Bodies, are denied to Enter the besieged Gaza strip. In Germany even truthtelling documentary or dissenting voices, which made critics over the Israeli Government, get condemned for telling truth to power, smeared by the embassy of the criticised country and german politicians and facing death threads afterwards for them and their whole family afterward.
Which must have become an acceptable behavior of an Ambassador, the Embassy of a foreign country and politicians of germany to silent dissent, in the home country and abroad.
It is simply to make a public statement of upholding humanity and respecting international humanitarian, to move on afterwards with the denial of Palastinian rights and keep silencing critical voices against Israels actions and the dehumanising treatment and grave violations of humanitarian law, human rights, the geneva conventions and other sets of rules, which should protect civilians from preventable disproportional harm.
The truth of the racist Government and it’s warfare against occupied people, is not accepted. They discriminate and deny the palastinians their rights. They lost all sense how dehumanising and racist, their behavior is, by denying the rights or not accepting the rights of palastinians. They didn’t recognise palastinian territory and the rights for palastinians in it. The media in germany and freedom of the press, the rights to assembly and rallying for solidarity and peace for palastinian victims of the war, are severly restricted by crackdowns.
You can rally free for every fringe beliefs but not for showing solidarity to palastinians living under a racist brutal occupation, besieged without equal rights where state sponsored terror against them are their daily experience.
It is a shameful cynical statement of empty words, where the Media names all palastinian prisoners in detention of Israel, terrorists.
Even those children in arbitraly detention without rights of a lawyer or a fair trial, which are detained under military rule!
Their is no innocent detained prisoner if it is a palastinian in german media.
