You keep turning the conversion to criticism of Muslims. My homeland point isn’t really about Muslims, or Jews, or Palestinians, or Greeks, or any other group specifically. It’s a general GLOBAL observation that what we define as “human rights” today and maintaining a homeland are not ideologically compatible.
To be ideologically compatible we would either need to redefine “human rights” or cease to support the existence of homelands. We can’t have it both ways without it being as source of conflict in the world. As it’s unlikely many nations will voluntarily commit seppuku any time soon I would argue it makes far more sense at this time to pragmatically further tweak our definitions of human rights to be more accommodating to this homeland issue but in a principled fashion for everyone. (thus still representing human rights but from a different perspective)
