Can any group discriminated against or persecuted really earned any rights over others because of their own persecution? This really is the crux of the issue. Zionists, who are largely Jews who immigrated from Europe, claim biblical rights ( as if anyone can claim rights because of what is in the Bible) to the land occupied by Arabs. They continue to claim these entitlements of land and domination over Palestinians. This is of course a prime example of destructive entitlement and just as it’s creates havoc in interpersonal relationships, it has created continuous violence and untenable conditions for the dispossessed Arabs. Until there is a restorative Justice the violence will continue. Sadly Britain and then America because of long standing racial prejudice has and continues to support Israel in the apartheid system in Israel and Palestinian Territories but seeing the consequences with the slaughter in Gaza played out, Americans appetite for this is growing thin. It will not sustain itself.
