Germany elected the Nazis. The Nazis committed far far worse crimes than Hamas and not every German was treated as a target to be killed not to mention today’s technology is far more advanced with targeting than 80 years ago. After WW2 the Germans even got back their own homeland not deported to Sweden..
While I wholeheartedly agree Hamas are extremists that should be eliminated, Hamas is not a synonym for Palestinians anymore than Nazi is for German. Likud, which although I don’t disagree with everything they say and do, hasn’t helped the situation by refusing to compromise itself, provocations of building settlements, and mostly taking a blind eye to random settler attacks towards minorities. No group is all good or all bad. I can only hope you recognize that some excesses exist in your own group too.
