The audience thought otherwise. It was clearly difficult for JG to make that speech, which made it more admirable. He went through with it knowing sections of society would pillory him for it. It’s impressive whenever someone puts their historical victimhood aside, whilst speaking up for present victims whoever they are. All said, it’s probable you never met your grandparents, & extended family b/c Israel didn’t exist at the time, so I respect your pov.
