Fascism is an extreme form of dictatorial ethnic nationalism. Some Islamic dominated states are theocratic thus qualifying them as authoritarian but I wouldn’t use the word “fascism” to describe them since their motives are religious rather than racial. I sometimes misuse the term myself in a moment of anger to describe what amounts to an extremist but there really aren’t any fascist states in the world today.
