In a move that has been perceived by many as a betrayal of the Palestinian people, top generals from several Arab countries, including Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt, met with their Israeli counterpart earlier this week in Manama, Bahrain, to discuss regional security cooperation.
1. I am not surprised by this. The betrayal has been going on all along, this is just the most visible representation of it.
2. It is not a perception, it is a fact. The Palestinian people have been betrayed by the ummah in the Middle East with few exceptions.
3. History will record this genocide and the actions of everyone involved. It is a cautionary event for Africans, for Latin Americans and all peoples of the Global South.
