Nuclear bombs leave a residue of radiation which conventional weaponry does not. The comparison is misleading to say the least.
Hamas has bragged that their tunnel system under Gaza is twice as large as the New York subway system, and Israel’s attacks map closely to that system. It takes a lot of energy to reach that far underground and to destroy a network that extensive takes a great deal of finesse.
