Re: Russia’s Red Army cultural diplomacy backfires in Turkiye

“In Turkiye, where the scars of ethnic cleansing, forced migration and exile run deep among many sections of the population as the result of long phases of Russian conquests”

That one made me laugh. The Ottomans originated from small region of central Asia. How did Turkey become so big and the Ottoman empire even bigger? By supporting “human rights” and peacefully minding their own business? Lets conveniently leave out the mass atrocities committed by Ottomans against dozens of peoples in the name of empire. Britain admits its imperialist mistakes. Japan does. Germany does. Turkey? Nope. Turkey is the “real” victim.
