I prepared the following Jewish population for American and Canada (and I am continuing to do it for all the countries that had Jews) – and the reason is because we have to know where the Jews were coming from. For example, Morocco where there was a huge Jewish population increase during World War II and there is no doubt that those were the European Jews who arrived in Morocco taking advantage of the fact that Morocco was colonized by the French.
The source of this information is the American Jewish Committee that have Jewish population archives for all the countries of the world between 1900 and 2008. Where you see X means that there was no population data provided for that year.
