I am anti zionist and I make a difference between Zionism and Judaism.
Some 20 or more years ago I was pro Israel but when I did my own research reading more about the “conflict” from different independent sources Israeli, Palestinian, international, human rights organizations, learned more about the Nakba, Deir Yassin and other atrocities I changed my mind. Now I understand why country I was born in, while it existed in previous form cut ties with Israel in 1967. I think it was a right decision. The native country in present does not host Israeli embassy and I wish it stay that way.
Israel is not some prosperous Jewish state, beacon of human rights.
Israel is well planned European settler, nationalistic, colonial project in the Middle East and US military outpost aimed for discipline surrounding Arab states. Contrary to the West , Israel wants so much to become part of, Israel is ethno religious state where rights are alocated based on ethnicity and religion. If you are of “wrong ethnic or religious group” you have less rights. That’ s not a characteristic or democracy.
Jews are to some extent hostages of Israel. Once upon a time I even wanted to visit Israel but I’ve lost that feeling.
System established in Israel just as it is, the apartheid and colonization in the West Bank of Jordan, Palestinians in Israeli internationally recognized borders being at least second class citizens, different forms of discrimination imposed on Palestinians, siege of the Gaza Strip is not viable in the long run. I think point of no return is already here. No one will forget the unfolding genocide in the Gaza Strip broadcasted live in the broad daylight. If Israelis want to ignore it and support self censorship rest of us in the world will not.
One of the solution of pressure is a complete isolation of the State of Israel and economic sanctions. Israel deserves it for sure.
I know everyone one of you who was a given a task on Birthrigt Israel trip to defend Israel and spread a blatant lies contained in Israeli narrative but I don’t care at all.
If Israeli narrative is not a lie why it invests billion of dollars to convince everyone else it is and silence those who cannot be bought and bribed.
